• GovTech Singapore (Ministry of Manpower) · Software Engineer · 01/2026 - Present. Developing MOMgpt, an internal AI assistant that helps staff across the Ministry of Manpower query internal data, including sensitive information, perform calculations and generate reports. Managed junior engineers and coordinated day to day development and delivery. Established infrastructure and application environments to meet required compliance standards. Improved information retrieval through benchmarking and refinement. Own application development, retrieval integration and cloud deployment. Stack: AWS, React, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, OpenSearch, RAG, Semantic Search, LLMs.
• S&P Global (Regulatory Reporting) · Software Engineer 2 · 09/2022 - 12/2024. Ran stand-ups and sprint planning for a 20-person team across developers, business analysts and project managers. Automated data-mapping work that used to take most of the week — cutting that time by about 70%. Fixed bugs across the full stack (frontend, backend, database) under tight regulatory deadlines. Mentored junior developers on debugging and code quality; set documentation standards that made onboarding easier.
